To the extent that we love others, we will be loved. To the extent that we work for others’ happiness, we will enjoy protection and support. This is the law of cause and effect.
“Every day is a journey, and the journey itself is home.”
Just as a tree that lived a thousand years lasts another thousand years after it has been cut, happiness will continue and endure to the extent that we have suffered to attain it.
NIEVES MONGE
PHOTOGRAPHER
I consider myself fortunate that I have been able to get the pictures that I have gotten. I've been interested in wildlife, Mother Nature since I was a little girl. I was born and raised in Brooklyn NY, so the wildlife there were pigeons, squirrels, and the local rats :-). I have always been interested in Photography. I have always taken Photographs even when they were Black and White. I wanted to become a veterinarian but life took a different path for me and I became a Social Worker instead. I moved out of NYC and I got to see a different beauty of Mother Nature and her creatures outside of the city. I have had the honor of working as a wildlife Rehabilitator. Wildlife and the environment are my passion. I have written and published a children's book about raccoons that I had rehabbed. I take my walks slowly and come across these incredible creatures and I am blessed to see them eating, feeding their young, etc., but I have to be patient and take my walks slow so that I can see what is going on around me. I have been fortunate that I have been able to travel to various places and have been able to takes pictures that take my breath away. These pictures are what my eyes see as beautiful. I hope that you will enjoy my pictures and continue to come back as I am always adding to my page. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
